How did you arrive at running this business? What path brought you here?

I wanted to be creative, change people’s lives and be free. Voila, I’m a freelance hair + makeup artist. Add a leather jacket, and I’m done.

What are you known for professionally? What do you have a knack for?

I think I’m known for listening to my clients. I’m easy-going and also kinda of funny and outrageous.

What’s the one problem you are best at solving for your clients? What do your clients say about you?

Because I travel to my clients and their event locations, my clients appreciate my flexibility and convenience to them the most, as well as my ability to create trendy looks with a classic style.

What was one of your favorite projects?

The most recent shoot I did with Free People. It was a Fall shoot and we had so much fun with braids and more relaxed bohemian style hair.

What are you most passionate about professionally?

Currently I am most passionate about creating awesomeness with other creative types. Whether it’s for a blog or just for fun. I love styling a shoot and creating a look. I try to incorporate that into my bridal appointments. I believe every bride should show off her personal style on her wedding day. It’s important for me to help her cultivate that inner beauty and actualize it.

What most excites you about your work & the contribution you can make?

The most exciting part of my work is seeing a client make that connection on the inside with the outside.

What are you passionate about personally? What do you really enjoy? What can’t you stop talking about?

Personally I’m really into self development and growth. I believe that every year is a new opportunity to be a better you. This year I plan on growing my social and visual presence. Super exciting stuff!

Where can we find you when you’re not working? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?

Since Saturdays and Sundays are super popular for weddings, Mondays you can find me reading W Magazine at a local GF bakery or coffee shop. I also love to travel and Paris is one of my favorite cities to visit for inspiration.

How long have you been doing what you do?

I’ve been in the industry about 10 years but I've been an artist my whole life.

Where did you grow up and why aren’t you there now?

I am Russian by birth and American by choice.

What’s your favorite 90’s jam?

TLC “ Waterfalls. “  That trio rocked my youth.

What would be impossible for you to give up?

Red Lipstick…….life would never be the same without it.

How do you want to be remembered?

Like a Fairy Godmother who saved Cinderella.
